Which players were selected for the pundit's EPL top performers lineup?

Following each round of English football fixtures throughout the campaign, sports analyst Troy Deeney presents his lineup and coach of the Week.

Here are this week's choices. Are you in agreement? Share your thoughts via the comments form further down.

Shot-stopper

Alphonse Areola (West Ham): The Hammers could have been trailing by six at Bournemouth but for him. Crucial performance, delivered and showed top ability. Excellent keeping to help achieve a 2-2 draw. Defeat would have damaged their whole season.

Defensive unit

Daniel Munoz (Crystal Palace): He's in the running for top performer. People will talk Arsenal's squad. He is the best performer by a country mile.

Murillo (Nottingham Forest): One would need to be a wild optimist to say 'Murillo nets and we overcome Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield'. You could have gotten massive odds on that. He shone. He is turning into a force. He proves to be a challenge. Delighted to see him playing as he did previously.

Malick Thiaw (Newcastle): I watched him a few times the previous season in Italy for AC Milan and he struggled due to errors. Yet now he's been dominant. He displays great strength and imposing and appears graceful. It appears he has secured a perfect fit.

Ferdi Kadioglu (Brighton): Not naturally a full-back, leaning towards a attacking-minded offensively. He has proven to be a great purchase for Brighton. It's no shock at them discovering another star unexpectedly? I thought when they got rid of Pervis Estupinan it raised eyebrows but the club is aware better than most.

Engine room

Sander Berge (Fulham) and Elliot Anderson (Nottingham Forest): Two of the same type and they make it for the identical cause. Their sides were victorious, many mention the scorers, but absent these individuals the squads falter. They are so good. They halt attacks, they attack together.

Eberechi Eze (Arsenal): The current star. A lot of followers, like my child, were questioning if he could be the man to secure victory. Three goals in the key match and currently fans desire to honor him permanently of him. Goals, composure, he dominated. The standout individual on the pitch.

Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa): Possibly the only aspect I share with Thomas Tuchel on - he has reached a point now where it's going to be very difficult to drop Morgan Rogers. My view was he began well this campaign, I think he acted with some expectation and believed he could have got a move to Chelsea, and perhaps aimed for that, but he appears to have found his footing. Two great goals obviously against Leeds pulled his side from behind. He made the impact.

Attackers

Callum Wilson (West Ham): I said he doesn't look his typical form. He appeared as if his pace had gone. Yet amazing. Words fail me. He shone. Phenomenal in his approach and in his dual goals.

Harvey Barnes (Newcastle): A really interesting player. He excels, usually better when introduced, but with Gordon sidelined so he must start. He squandered a huge chance against Manchester City at 0-0 with his simplest attempt. Yet possessing the psychological strength to enter into difficult situations and get a brace was remarkable.

Boss

Sean Dyche (Nottingham Forest): He comes in and beats Arne Slot. A superb tactical approach. It could have been five or six for Forest and all would agree.
