Charli XCX is gearing up for a substantial cinematic presence in 2026, starting with the satirical film titled The Moment.
Throughout the movie, the artist embodies what she describes as a hell version of her public image.
It’s the truest representation of the entertainment world that I’ve ever encountered, the performer remarked.
She elaborated in a conversation: This isn’t a concert film, yet the concept came from the pressure to create one.
A Glimpse into The Project
The debut trailer, launched on Thursday, mixes real clips from Charli’s Sweat tour with imagined behind-the-scenes moments.
The film is directed and co-written by the director, who revealed that the narrative revolves around a reality where the singer took completely different paths during the promotion of her smash hit album Brat.

February will also see the launch of Emerald Fennell’s version of Wuthering Heights, which will include original songs from the artist.
She is also set to provide music for the story Mother Mary, with Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, planned for launch in the coming year.
